CPNE date - already!

I applied 3 weeks ago and got a date today. Being extremely superstitious, I'm not telling the date, just that it's not that far away. I'm in shock. Maybe it's good karma because I had a pt today with a non-ST mi, and caught it on the EKG machine, got it right to the doc, and the pt went directly to the cath lab. Maybe a reward? I don't know. Just want to get it over with. Work will probably deny my time off for the CPNE, so I'll have to call out (which I never do). I'm going to Albany. Sorry for rambling, I'm just in total shock.

Thanks all! I picked first avail, cancellation date, just give me anything. Luckly, working in the ER, I'm able to "practice" on my patients, ie, doing things the EC way. But I'm being super careful to do things the EC way! I don't have time for a workshop, but I have Robs video and a girl at work used it and passed w/no repeats!

I also have Rob's video, and hope I pass the 1st time, like others who have utilized his resources. I also have Excelsior's orientation dvd I purchased from Ebay. Good luck on your exam!

Congratulations on a date. Get you some good mnuemonics and practice those labs till you know the steps with your eyes closed.

Very cool! I did St. Peter's in Albany and it was a great site. Nice city too, which is high praise coming from a Boston born and bred, LOL. Good luck, you will rock that CPNE!!
