I heard about that, and the story about her renting the whole floor. I wonder how that is possible?! Will other moms in L&D get turned away or have to labor in triage or something? I think it's rediculous, no one should be allowed to rent a whole floor out.

But this is "Queen Brittney" we are talking about!!
Last thing I heard is that she is getting an elective c-section becuase she does not want to deal with labor pains...you don't have to have brains to be a super star.

Wherever she has her baby, I hope the baby is born healthy, that her delivery goes smoothly, and that she will take excellent care of her newborn. I wouldn't wish anything wrong on any mother to be whether she's likable or not. She's a human being who deserves to be treated as one just like any other woman about to give birth to a miracle...babies are miracles. The baby could be born to a drug addict, a sex offender, or worse, so having Britney as a mother is an honor. At least the baby is being born into a very close knit and loving family as Britney's family is.

She deserves her privacy and probably thinks that she needs to rent the whole floor to do so.
She's just not your average citizen checking in, she's a major star that's hounded mercilessly by an ever increasingly intrusive paparazzi.
I don't believe the rumor she's having a c-section just to avoid labor pains.

Ditto Tweety. And I don't believe she's having a c-section period. If her doctor feels the need for her to have one, then so be it. She's a woman with child, and will be treated medically according to the progression of her labor...whatever it takes to save mom and baby. No doctor will play around with that if he/she has any common sense. :)
I'm soooooooooooooooooooo SICK AND TIRED of people blasting Britney. What has she done to those of you who hate her anyway? Or those of you who make fun of her anyway? She is a human being and child of God just like the rest of us. What she does to make a living is what she has always wanted to do. She's doing it, and she's happy about her lot in life. She's young, and still has much to learn and many ways to mature, but what person under 25 doesn't? I love the kid, and find her to be a very likable person just like the rest of her family. I'd be proud to have her as a daughter or best friend of my three daughters. Hats off to her for being herself. It's a lot better than pretending to be something she's not. :)
Besides, to avoid labor pains, a lot of women, my sister included went with an eipdural. This provides pain relief much more effectively than a c-section.

I'm not going to say I'm fan. But I confess to buying all her music because I like good pop music that you can dance to. She's got slick producers that make up for her lack of talent in the voice department.
I shudder to think the judgement I would have received if my every movement from age 16 to 25 was recorded for all to see.

It seems that if there was someone "in the know" that they would be violating HIPPA if they discussed it. Same with any other patient, right?

I'm sure the majority of people on this board have heard of HIPAA - either from experience or from those lousy HCC courses that we need for school. No one should be talking about this - especially on a national web site. Honestly, I thought that this thread would have been closed by the administrators. No offense to the Brittney fans, but give me a break.
Suggesting this thread be closed per worry of violating HIPAA.
