-I've actually started reading the 1st chapter on the syllabus. Kinda hard to finish it but at least I started, right? :lol2:

School doesn't start for me until March. Until then, I'm relaxing, reading, catching up on my shows and sleeping in late. :) There's work, too. I find myself wishing it was March already, though.

RELAX,exercise, RELAX, get a headstart and do some outlines in my final semester nursing portfolio, Relax some more, spend time with my girls and get them ready for the start of a new school year, Swim, watch movies, cook good meals, Organise my house properly AGAIN, then Relax even more. I have about 8 weeks left.

Cleaning, already read one book for fun...hmmm and worrying about when I'll ever find out my clinical placements!

I've been power reading for pleasure since the break started!

I also have been doing some studying for the NCLEX but probably not as much as I should be doing!

No 'break' for me, I ended my Fall semester and the very next day started a 'winter session' class. Decided to do Microbiology for the 4 weeks..actually its not as bad as I thought it would be. As soon as that's over, the very next day we start our Spring semester. No rest for the weary, but I'd rather bang out Micro during the winter than during the summer. Other than class, I'll be working full time as always.

A friend starts in 19 days she is counting the minutes down. I don't have that excitement anymore. I hoping my break goes by slowly. The only countdown I'm doing is the one for graduation.

I just finished my 1st semester and during break I haven't opened a single nursing book! I think I will once my kids go back to school Monday.

It has been so nice just to relax and not worry about tests, care plans, and getting up at 0500 for clinical!

I have read three books, which i am supre proud of. Also, working 43 hours/wk, so making some money to feed myself over the next 6 months. But, having to wear business casual every day is killing me. I cannot wait to get back to school to I can wear T-shirts and scrubs again!

I had it all planned out how I was going to start looking through ATI and Saunders NCLEX books, but I have been enjoying laying on my couch catching up on movies that came out in the beginning of 2011, i.e. Bridesmaids. The good thing is I haven't been a total couch potato as I lost 6lbs! Final semester starts in a few days and want to enjoy as much of the break as possible.

I have been really enjoying my break. I have been in pjs all day up all night. I have A&P next semester and I want to do nothing up until that time. Congrats to everyone who Have finished their prereq's.
