I have been "coolin it". Lazy the whole way. I squeezed in some mother-daughter moments but other than that I've been in pj's with my hair tied up. A&P II, NUR 112, NUR 114. I will be busy so I need to take the time to breath. I have been staying up late and waking up even later. (Only time I can get me time without screaming "sit down" or "calm down"). I have managed to do some dosage calculations for the medication comptency test we have the second day of class. I have been good at it thus far so praying that I don't have to take it over after the first time. Oh, I am reading a book. It's really cheesy romance novel but anything beats Nursing books. Have a great break you guys.

What am I doing? Absolutely nothing nursing-related. That includes:

-riding horses and cleaning tack

-bought a shotgun and can't wait to learn how to use it

-riding bikes for recreation instead of to get from point A to point B

-working on sewing projects

-hanging out and giving attention to my dogs

-visiting family and friends

-working on my research project

-put my spring garden in under winter cover

-drinking lots of beer

-sleeping in

-practicing my sax

-promising myself I'll atually keep my New Year's resolutions

-cleaning the house

Winter break rules!

Sleeping in late, reading novels that I've had there like sitting ducks, hanging out with friends, catching up on some tv series and light educational reading lol.. Just relaxing like I don't have a care in the world, feels absolutely wonderful. :w00t:

I am going to SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP ! & shop a little :lol2:

Nothing! Well, almost nothing. Mostly, taking it easy.

I don't know about everyone else, but being my last semester, I have a set plan of finishing in May '12 and taking my NCLEX at the first available date. So taking a break is not all the way an option. I've been doing my readings and working and listening to pre-recorded lectures for the next semester. I plan on having an easier last semester of nursing.

I do plan on enjoying New Years. Don't slack of fellow students. Do something everyday, what ever you can to organize yourself for the semester to come.

Happy New Year All.

Got some new things to do while on break.... I got engaged so I will be planning my Wedding!!!! I'm super excited.

Best wishes nurselovejoy!Well my house hasn't been this clean since August. I did all the fun things I wanted to and read several chapters ahead and met my study group for a review day. I still have 16 days to relax....

for me, it's 13 more days... it's my last semester in nursing.

Congrats NurseLoveJoy88. You significant other can't have picked a more perfect time. For not only will you efficiently get married, but will also be enthused, happy, and a bit hard on using time. I wouldn't be surprised if you have your lectures with you right before you say "I DO".

Congrats!

You wouldn't happen to be a student with Region A would you?

Thanks guys for the best wishes !!! I'm actually done with nursing school. Graduated in December. In the spring I plan on taking 1-2 prereqs for RN-BSN, therefore I won't be nearly as stressed and can enjoy my future husband!
