Applying for Gordon Nursing Program Spring 2010

Hello All,

I am applying for Spring 2010 admission at Gordon. When is the application deadline? I do not need to take any classes at Gordon so I applied for Spring 2010 admission. I have not received an acceptance letter and that has been two months ago. When I check the website, it says that all of my information has been received, but my transcripts have not been evaluated or at least no grades have been posted for me as of yet. I need to apply to the program and take the TEAS, but I know that time is running out. I am beginning to get very frustrated! Can anyone help me or give me a name of someone that can help speed this process along? Thanks so much!:wink2:

Ok so if you think that they are actually going to FINALLY mail our letters out tomorrow. That means we should expect it at the latest by Wednesday. Well at least that is what I am figuring. I took the Regent's test on Tuesday and it was not bad at all. I took the Reading and Writing. It was EASY!!!!! So those of you who have not taken it don't worry. You will do fine.

100% sure letters are being mailed out Today, just saw secretary sorting out stacks of letters..... OH MY!! I'm so nervous.

Whoopee! I am just ready to know already! I am sending up prayers for everyone!

Hello All,

Well I got my letter today that we have all been anxiously awaiting, and....I was put on a waiting list for the Spring 2010 semester. WHAT??? I didn't even know there was a waiting list...is that just there way to tell you that you were almost in, BUT not quite good enough. A polite way of saying NO? I can't even find anymore info. or people who were waitlisted in the past, and if they ever made it in? I am so incredibily frustrated...now I have to wait longer to find out if someone declines....more waiting?? Or should I pretty much just start to reapply and give up for this semester? Any advice out there? Thanks!

Hello everyone,

I'M IN!!!!! I got my acceptance letter today!!! I can't tell you how happy I am right now. :yeah:

MJ1215,

Do not get discouraged. I know someone that was on the waitlist and got in the program because you do have people, for whatever reason, not accept. I think it's mostly due to financial reasons because the lettet I received gave me a breakdown of what everything will cost and it is quite expensive!!! So, keep your head up, keep praying because you still have a chance.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

#1 Mommy,

Thank you for the encouragement and congrats to you! That is great! Good luck.

I too was waitlisted. I guess it is on to plan B. Congrats to all who were accepted! :yeah:

I got my letter too today, did not get in and I have a 3.5 GPA, but I have not finished all my sciences, mayb there are a lot of applicants and waiting list. On 2 plan B also.

GAMommy,

Do you know anything about how many people typically are on the waitlist at Gordon?

I have no earthly idea. I guess we will have to call and harrass them, but I am just tired of dealing with Gordon. They have been slow about getting things done, for me anyway. I hope things work out for you. Good luck!

Yeah, guess that is what has to be done. Thank you and Good luck to you too GAMommy.
