Applying for Gordon Nursing Program Spring 2010

Hello All,

I am applying for Spring 2010 admission at Gordon. When is the application deadline? I do not need to take any classes at Gordon so I applied for Spring 2010 admission. I have not received an acceptance letter and that has been two months ago. When I check the website, it says that all of my information has been received, but my transcripts have not been evaluated or at least no grades have been posted for me as of yet. I need to apply to the program and take the TEAS, but I know that time is running out. I am beginning to get very frustrated! Can anyone help me or give me a name of someone that can help speed this process along? Thanks so much!:wink2:

Yes it is frustrating. Is their a way we can find out who is on the admissions committee? Or better yet, can we just call up there and see if we got in? This is crazy! I am trying to make plans for next semester and they are holding me up. I am trying to see how much money I need to shell out for books etc. Oh well. I will just keep on keeping on until they finally send out the letters. Be blessed everybody!

No letter again today

Tell me about it! Argh!

well, at least we'll know by this time next week, my friend went to see her advisor yesterday and she said the letters will be sent friday and that they were taking double the amount then they did last semester and if you look at the nursing schedule, you'll see they have 4 1901 classes for the spring as oppose to the 2 they had in the fall soo...all we can do now is wait..........

Is that Friday tomorrow or Friday next week? I am so ready to find out if I am in. They could at least send out the rejection letters! My goodness!

Well, yeah I figured they were going out Friday because on the website they say you will get a letter no sooner than 8 weeks and this is the 8th week. Keep your fingers crossed everyone and just pray about it. If it is meant to b then it will b!

Tomorrow

#1 Mommy,

Your credentials sound great! I think that you shouldn't have a problem getting in. I am getting nervous now! If they turned you down last semester with your stats, I am getting a little worried. I didn't know the Regents had to be completed in order to apply. I took it and passed it a long time ago, but it just seems to me that they are looking for reasons not to accept people. I still have an outstanding class that didn't transfer and I am hoping that that will not prevent me from getting in.

It shouldn't hinder you from getting in. My friend got in and she had not completed APII. So, we all just have to think positive and know that what's for us, is for us!!!
