Hey Jeff,

Welcome to AllNurses. I live in a small town about 35 miles between Dayton and Cincinnati equally. Yep, you're right, all work and no play makes for grumpy nurses, (and others also).

I work in inpatient rehab. For fun, well, in the words of Cindy Lauper......

I currently work in a local dayton hopital, I work and play is very seldom. You are right. People say, "we need a life outside of work." Let's see: Mandatory inservices, staff meetings, working when the unit is short, getting called at home about an issue.

When, for the Love of God, do we have time for ourselves. :angryfire

And I don't even want to know what new grads are makin, I think I would have to be ill. lol.

I live in Dayton proper. More of a music buff than sports buff. um...whatelse can I say. Well, have a great day.

I am an LPN from OH, a small town about 40 miles from Dayton. I am in Montana right now on a travel assignment. I love it! If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I travel with a dog but I'm sure humans would be much better conversation... :)

Awesome!!!! i actually have a ton of questions...if you dont mind me asking what is the ave pay for traveling nurses, i have heard it is better than if you were a regular employee..also, do they provide housing or how much does it cost? ive looked into a few diff agencies and i think some provide for free others make you pay, also some nurses have told me to just get a hotel room but i dont think i could live in a hotel...also...i heard regular staff nurses dont take to well to travelers..have you seen that in your travels?? anyway...where all have you been and where do you like the best??? Thanks for the opportunity to ask all these questions...
