They may have been but they were in international waters and there has been no evidence for that.

You try to make a snide comment about fathers then use the link that shows that Trump/Hegseth are acting illegally. It is international waters, no proof has been shown of drugs. Just because Trump says it does not mean it's true. Beerman said: Why do you think we bombed their boats? So who's next for some American missiles? Also, what about the pastor in Chicago who was shot in the head by ICE with no official outrage - this shows the state of your nation.

There will not be "official outrage" as they've already come out in defense of ICE. About the state of our nation, American violence on Americans is a thing. Mass shootings is an almost daily occurrence and fact of our lives. Our children have to practice mass shooting drills, our teachers have to undergo training. The school shooting business is a billion dollar industry. https://www.npr.org/2025/09/08/nx-s1-5317647/school-shooting-industry During some gun debate years ago, a debate I generally stay out of, I said and still feel that we are beyond hope. There are more guns for people and the support for having a gun is widespread across all spectrums. I know many people that are lefties that have weapons. I've often thought of getting one myself as I age alone and the country becomes more violent. But I don't trust myself to not use it on myself one day. No amount of gun control or laws will stop the killings. It is interesting that we've armed ourselves to the teeth and now have to send our own military onto American soil to help curb the violence. Yes, all of this show the state of the nation.

He got up and walked away. Having said that, based on the video clips that I've seen, in my opinion none of his actions warranted even the use of non--lethal force.

Yes, people are okay with it, because this is what Trump was elected to do. Has hard as it is to fathom there is support for deportation and ICE, especially if they are protested and threatened. Someone though is going to get hurt either at the protests or when being arrested and taken into custody by ICE. What they should not do is resist arrest, fight with ICE and try to run away. This is how people get shot and hurt. But if someone gets shot protesting (and to the right protestors are un-American) or running away from being deported, the "supposedly christian America" will be all right with it. Depending on how it's worded and who is conducting the poll. Now, Trump really doesn't like Harvard's woke educations system but they are touting this poll: Quote Recent polls conducted by Harvard's Center for American Political Studies (CAPS) and the Harris Poll show continued public support for some deportation measures, especially regarding undocumented immigrants who have committed crimes. A Harvard/Harris poll from early October 2025 found that while support varies based on the specifics of the policy, a significant portion of registered voters back the Trump administration's deportation efforts. Key findings from recent Harvard/Harris polls: Deporting criminal undocumented immigrants: A poll conducted October 1–2, 2025, found that 78% of registered voters support deporting undocumented immigrants who have committed crimes. A June 2025 poll reported an 80% support rate for the same policy. Deporting all undocumented immigrants: The early October 2025 poll also found that 56% of registered voters support deporting all undocumented immigrants. This represents a majority, but it is a lower level of support than for deporting those with criminal records. Deportations and due process: A May 2025 poll found that 75% of voters support deporting undocumented immigrants with criminal records, but 57% also support efforts to ensure deportees receive trials or hearings. This indicates that while many support deportation, they also want to ensure due process is followed. Immigration as a top issue: An August 2025 poll found that while inflation was the number one issue for voters, immigration remained a significant concern, especially among Republicans. The polls' findings align with the Trump administration's stated goals regarding immigration enforcement. A Department of Homeland Security news release from October 8, 2025, specifically cited the Harvard/Harris poll results to claim broad public support for its mass deportation agenda.
Oct 14, 2025Oct 14 There is another 'No Kings Rally' this Saturday that some are projecting to be the largest peaceful protest ever. Trump likes to brag about his crowd size, and he's really going to see a crowd in a few days. Republicans are so worried they are calling it the Hate America rally. I am looking forward to it. I hope there are lots of inflatables.

I clearly stated in my post that, based on the video that I've seen, it didn't appear that the use of force, either lethal or non-lethal, was warranted. Nor, when I was reviewing videos of the event did I find any evidence of support for this event. In addition, I found this article, discussing the results of a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll in which 58% of respondents (51% Republican) felt the Mr Trump should only deploy the military against 'external threats.' However, if you have some evidence, other than your opinion, that this is actually the case, I would definately review it. There is a huge difference in "being shot" and being "hit with a pepper ball." As you wrote that you saw the video, and know that the event didn't involve lethal force, I find your choice of words interesting.

The use of force was not warranted, so what gives these people the right to shoot at someone with no consequences? chare said: There is a huge difference in "being shot" and being "hit with a pepper ball." What is the difference being shot in the head with a bullet or being shot in the head with a missile? Answer; a matter of degree and luck. Both can kill. What you seem to be saying is that as long as the person who is shot does not die then regardless of any damage done or lasting disability it's OK to do it. I am not saying the pastor had lasting disability but when you start shooting missiles into peoples heads then it is only a matter of time.
