U.S.A. Washington DC

Hello! I just received an acceptance for the Fall 2016 class. I am wondering if any former or current students had advice about the program--whether they think it is worth it? How they feel about it? And also if there are any people on here who have been accepted as well!

Thank you

Hello, just got accepted to the Fall 2016 ABSN cohort. Does anyone know of any students who graduated from the Washington Squared program? Do they recommend it?

First, congratulations to everyone that was accepted! 😀 cclaire, can you tell me when your application went for preliminary review? Was it before March 1st? Thank you and congratulations again!

Hello lrh1023, Thank you so much! I submitted in late January and preliminary review was complete and sent to the admissions committee about 3 weeks later.

Thank you I just added myself! And I will see you on Friday :) @britd1234

Has anyone else heard anything? I also have gotten accepted to Marymount and my deposit is due so I was hoping to hear something from GW so I could make a decision, I've been in final review since 3/4....

I have been in final review for a while as well. I emailed them yesterday and recvd a response that they have an overwhelming amount of applications to review this round so its taking longer than expected

Hello everyone! I am also waiting for any change in decision. I received the email saying my application has been complete and sent to the committee on 3/9. I called admissions today and the lady said that I should hear something from them in about two weeks! Hope we all hear good news the coming weeks :)

I did hear back on Friday guys, and I am waitlisted. I don't know how fast the list moves but I did get accepted to Marymount so I will just go ahead and make the deposit, if for some miraculous reason, I'm reconsidered I would have a tough decision to make. Good luck to everyone else, hope you guys hear back soon!!! :)

Hello!

I submitted my application with everything verified and complete through NursingCAS for the VBSN program on March 23rd. I just got an email today that they completed the preliminary review of my application and sent it to the Admissions Committee. I hope to hear back soon because I am still on Active Duty and my request for an early release to further education is waiting on my acceptance here. I've been accepted to VBSN programs at UAB and USM, but have my sights set on GWU.

If any other VBSN applicants have any information about the VBSN program, GWU veterans services, yellow ribbon program, or any other helpful information please let me know! :)

I just got the email, I've been accepted to GWU's Veteran's BSN program for this Fall!!! :) :) :)

Congrats! I'm looking at the Spring 2017 VBSN program as a soon to be veteran myself! What kind of background do you have? Undergrad degree?GPA?Pre-req GPA? Is your job right now medical related? Good luck and congrats!

I am still active duty actually! I am in the Navy, a Hospital Corpsman. My GPA is 3.78. Just waiting on my request for early release to further education to get approved. I just have my associates degree in general studies and additionally classes to fulfill my prerequisites. My acceptance is actually conditional just because I'm currently finishing Microbiology and A&P II which will be finished in June. Thank you!!

Was anyone wait list for the spring 2017 start? I was placed on the wait list and haven't heard anything ever since. I am also not sure how long I have to wait for a response from them.
