Yet another 'thoughts on travel companies' (PPR, Fastaff) post :)

Specialties Travel

Published

Hello everyone,

I am currently working as a nurse in FL and I will be traveling in January. I have done extensive (repeat: extensive) research on travel companies and most of the time all I can find are bad reviews. I have found a few companies that sound ok: PPR and Fastaff, though I will take any suggestions. I was wondering if anyone can tell me about their experiences in these agencies?

I don't want to be too inflexible in my choosing but I don't want to be lied to either. At this point I think I will ask for housing stipend and find my own digs. My main worry is that I will get jipped on pay. A higher paying job is not the ultimate goal for traveling but I also don't want to make the crap pay I'm making now in Florida.

I mainly want to travel up the west coast.

Thanks! :jester:

I have worked for both of those agencies and had great experiences. I was not happy at all with Flexcare, I had to fight for everything, and they got me into a lousy hospital that didn't need another traveler and ended early. I'm currently with Nightingale, so far so good. I'm still registered with the two you mentioned. I was treated like a princess with ppr. Gift cards and care packages.
