Hey Everybody,

This post goes out to anybody that is applying to Texas Christian University for the Spring of 2005. I never see any post about this school I know one reason is the $$$$$$$ but I didn't think it scared everybody away!

If there is anybody applying...stop by and say hi!

Hi,

I have a business degree and I was accepted @ TCU and spoke with the director of the nursing program. I had enrolled in a class last Wed. and everything when I realized that hey maybe I should call a recruiter. I called, and he said, "Jeremy, you should get your ADN and forget about going into debt $35k." So, I listened and now I'm applying to El Centro/Northlake program.

TCU is an awesome school though. I would go if I was eligible for the Pell Grant or some other financial aid... One class was $2055! Whew!

Sincerely,

Jeremy

I applied to TCU for the spring 05 semester, but to be honest, its my last choice school. Part of it is the money issue, but also there are other schools that are more appealing to me as far as reputation and location go.

My top two choices are Texas Womens (I applied to both the Dallas and the houston campuses) and baylor. I also applied to Midwestern and UT Tyler as back ups (witchita falls and tyler arent really that tempting!)

I do have a question, though. I got an email from zoranna williams telling me that she was lacking some application materials and when I was reading through the updated "check list" for spring 2005, it asked for a resume. Is this a normal resume with jobs, school, etc. or are they looking for something else?

That's a good question, I was wanting to know the same thing. I believe it is a work resume, but If you find out otherwise please let me know. Also, have you asked Mrs.Williams or any of the other Nursing school Admin about the # of applicants or the approx # of transfer students that they admit a semester? Just wondering what I'm up against mainly because Jeremy said it a slim to none chance to get in for the Spring!:)

-Thanks in advance for your reply

I have no idea what the numbers are for TCU. Im sure he is right, though. Most schools are REALLY difficult to get into if you havent done your pre-reqs there, which is why Im so stressed about this.

Only two more months til I find out!
