HAHA I am moving also! I already have my appointments scheduled. Are you going to register for medical terminology or any other courses?

That's so crazy! I will have to wait until the 1st to do them. I want to are they still accepting registration for summer 1?

i looked MT under medical assistant, but those classes had already started...

I think we need to go to the Continuing Education department to register.

The Nursing program recommends taking Medical terminology and pharmacology math for students who have no prior experience.

So i went ahead and registered at the Continuing Ed. department.

Yeah I know but the good thing is that it's the only school I know of that u don't need the entrance test like HESI or TEAS. At least not yet!! WBU just implemented the test last Fall. Here's the link if you haven't started another BSN program it'd be good to stick to one program cuz I did my pre req's for UTHSCSA then decided on this school I took lots of classes that I didn't need for WBU & wasted time & money cuz many classes I had already done for UTHSCSA WBU didn't need, but oh well paid off & now I'm in

Where did you take pathophysiology?

It's not a available at alamo colleges. Are you taking it there at wayland?

I didn't have to take it!! Those requirements are new they start for ppl who enroll fall 2013. When I enrolled their was no med terminology, nutrition (I have cuz UTHSCSA), pathophysiology, writing. This is what it used to be:

Oh I see.

I went yesterday to talk to the advisor. So far I only need my 2 religion classes, physiology & research writing class. I'm hoping I can test out of the computer class.

I'm meeting w my specific advisor Tuesday to make sure my classes all transfer & get all my paperwork in order.

& I have figure out how to pay for these 5 terms lol

I'm doing the LVN to BSN track.

That's good!! I'm testing out of the computer class next week its only $35. So u can actually get in, in the spring if u can do one more class before the cutoff, cuz u can leave 9 credit hours. U would have to do the patho class cuz it's a biology & u need all bio classes done. Let me know if u need something!!

Take religion with Ferrell!!!!!!!!!

I take out loans but they have a 3 payment plan & they don't charge u fees like ACCD does.

I won't be in the actual nursing program until next fall, 2014. I'm going to take these courses in the spring at wayland.

I'm going to try to apply for financial aid & ill have to pay for the rest.

Y don't u try to take pathophysiology somewhere else then u can apply & start a semester earlier in Spring!!

I have a WBU thread here some where

Well I just found out I'm 6 weeks pregnant lol

My due date is feb 16th

I already applied to sac LVN to RN for the spring, I would only accept it if they let me start flex 2, march 25th. Otherwise ill go to WBU, fall 2014.

I'm getting a BSN for sure even when/if I complete an ASN. (Texas tech, online).

I'm taking prereqs for WBU just to be on the safe side, that way I can just apply & be prepared for fall 2014. I don't mind taking classes, I enjoy school. I just want an RN within the next 1-2 years lol
