I am relocating back to Houston and I recently accepted a position at Memorial Hermann in the Med Center. We are buying a home in the Copperfield area. Hwy 6 and 290. I will be working nocs. What is the easiest commute? Thanks!

When I was going to HCC, that's in the Medical center, I was doing the park and ride thing. But since you'll be going at night time it's different. There's a few things you can do, first some people I know that work in the med center their hospital offers a parking for them for free that's a certain distance from the hospital they work for, of course you still need to drive down there but anyways, then they would catch a ride to the hospital all this provided by their hospital, so check with yours, this person in particular works for St. Lukes. This saves with you $ having to pay for parking.

Another thing you can do if this is not offered is, I know that by taking 290 to 610-West (i THink) and then take 610 to where the reliant stadium is at, exit Fanin. There's a park and ride to your right from Metro, where you pay $3 for parking and then $1 for the train and the train takes you directly to the MEd center. If you want more info on metro go to their website www.ridemetro.org and check it out. It's the Fanin park & ride and then look at the Train schedule/pathway, etc. I know during the regular "day time" hours the whole trip for me coming from 290/hwy 6 to finally getting to the med center was about 50 mins- 1 hour. Hope this helps!
