Brookhaven nursing applicants for Spring 2014

I am applying to Brookhaven's nursing program to start in Spring 2014. Anyone else applying and if so, how far along are you in the process? I have all my prereq's done plus Micro, A&P II, Lifespan, Nursing Patho,and Pharmacology.

Oh my gosh there are so many errors in this drug calc module it's making me want to scream!!

You never know with the 28 points you have! Anything is possible! That's great about the points you have for El Centro!!! That's my goal too! I wish you the best!!!! Do you have your CPR certification?

I started mine and who are we supposed to notify about the mistakes?

I got my CPR cert, thank goodness! Are you finding mistakes?? I think I am but because there is no teacher to ask I'm not 100% certain if its me or the program which is frustrating! I emailed an academic advisor who told me to call the nursing department, the recording there says contact an advisor... I emailed both **** and *****, still haven't heard anything except we will look into it, finally did an online chat with an evolve tech person who said "I don't know how to do the problem". *sigh*

more issues with drug calc in module 14....labor and delivery....... and the evolve tech guy cant seem to understand what im saying.... i want my money back, this is just dumb.

I surely don't understand that! It's a requirement to get in and it's clearly causing some confusion. I have seen several post on Brookhaven's nursing page on FB where others are having the same issues with the module.

I haven't seen any of those posts, except my own, I was thinking either I just don't understand what I'm doing or I'm the only person who is actually going through each and every page of the module and doing every single practice problem. Oh we'll I just hope there are not errors on the exam and that someone gets back to me soon about the issues I'm having.

Thank goodness!!! Finally finished drug calc today!!! 96% on the final on the first try!!! So thankful it's over!

you aren't the only one that saw errors! I made screen shots of the ones I saw! I could n't get in touch with anyone about it. Good to know you made a good grade regardless! Can I ask how many questions were on the final for drug calc? I'm takin gmine tomorrow!

Oh I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I seriously thought that maybe I was just crazy! Be prepared for question overload, it's 100 questions and took me about 2 hrs to do. I figured I failed because it took me so long and was so surprised when I passed!!

oh wow! Yeah I totally expected about 100 questions. But luckily there is no time limit! I decided to take the test on saturday so that I had plenty of time to sit down and work on it. I'm seriously hoping I don't see any errors like I did with the module. I didn't even bother with the book. I went into the bookstore to purchase and noticed that none of the reading matched up and thought that was absolutely ridiculous to spend $75+ on a book that doens't even correlate. No thanks. I saw that you took Patho at TWU, I did as well, did you have MacArthur on Monday mornings?

I found a couple more issues in the last couple of modules and called the secretary to the Dean. I explained the situation to her and she asked me for my phone number and name and told me that she was going to have him call me back. I'm just worried that with my luck, I will be the one having those same kinds of issues on my exam... I will post again if he calls me back!
