reading and english languge usage

I have took this exam 2 times , and I failed on my reading and grammar. anybody interest in forming a study group. Does anyone remember unusual words on the language usage part.

I am trying to remember one word from language part, but I do not remember how to spell. It seem like: inthon, inthom. it was not the word infamous. it was ask the meaning of the word. WHO CAN SAVE ME?
