Switch from clinic to PHN in less than a year?

Hi,

After graduation, I started my first job at a specialist clinic and it's been nearly a year. In the clinic, my task mainly consists of asking patients pre-set questions before passing them on to the doctor. Then I explain anything that the doctor doesn't have time to do. I also do occasional SQ and IM shots now and then. There is no need for physical assessments or VS...and my nursing skills are very much neglected. When the doctor is away, I find myself quickly running out of tasks to do. Needless to say, I find there is very little opportunity for growth in this clinic.

Back in school, I knew bedside nursing was not my thing, that's why I chose to work in the community. Now I regret not getting more experience in the hospital to improve my nursing skills and I'm afraid I will never be marketable again even if I want to go back.

Recently I saw a job posting for PHNs and it just seems like a much better opportunity, but it's only been less than a year at my current job and I don't want to look like a job hopper.

Should I stick it out at my current job longer before switching jobs?
