Hello Everyone
I am an traveling ER nurse, have been for the past 3 years, and I am close to going insane! I keep thinking that this is not why I became a nurse and that I do not belong in the ER. Public Health Nursing seems right up my alley because I am all about prevention, and education. I would be willing to quit traveling, settle down, and take a serious pay cut if public health is for me. HOWEVER I do not know much about it! I was really hoping to get some insight into ph nursing...
What is a typical day?
How do you get involved in campaigns for public education? (back to sleep, time is brain...)
Who is the boss?
Would it be beneficial to get a masters, and how much more money would you make?
Pros and Cons...
Honestly I dont even think I know enough to know what questions to ask!! So the more info the better... PLEASE HELP!!
