UIC MSN-FNP - Anyone else get an interview?

I'M SO EXCITED.

YET SO INCREDIBLY NERVOUS!

I got an interview, it was a weird ticketing system to give out interviews that I've never gone through before. They send you an email letting you know to come to interview sessions, kind of like an e-vite, there were only 2 days with 2 time slots available (total of 4 different times to go interview) when I checked my email the day after it was sent ......with only about 1-7 slots left per time. It had said that they had so many qualified applicants that they decided to do it this way, but had tele-interviews for out of staters. It seemed as though if someone didn't check their email on time, they were out of an interview even though they would have qualified for one, kind of like a first come first serve? I'm not sure?

Did anyone else get invited to the interview sessions?

Does anyone have insight on how these are conducted? It seems as if they are going to be group-style interviews but I'm not too sure.

Oh and this isn't for the GEP, this is for the regular? program, I already have my BSN. I know there are a lot of people on here interested in the GEP program, didn't want to confuse anyone :)

Hi! I am interested in applying to the UIC FNP program and was wondering how your interview went. What types of questions did they ask? Was it a group interview or one-on-one? Good luck!!

Hey I am starting FNP program at uic this fall 2011 at Chicago campus. How about u?

Me too!! Did you get you admission packet and "official" letter yet or just the unofficial letter from UIC?

I havent recieved the official letter yet!!! how about u? R u enrolled in the 3 or 4 yr plan?

Hmm me neither and orientation is coming up soon! I'm doing 4 even though it seems like an eternity away, I kinda was choosy between 3 and 4 but considering I'll be working full time and i don't like to be constantly studying I think it will end up being the best fit to do 4 with my current lifestyle and needs :) How bout you?

I finally got my acceptance letter from UIC today!!! Were you there for the orientation yesterday? Probably we were in the same class with Charlie Yingling:)

I know this is an old post, but I was wondering if either of you remember when you received notice of acceptance? Or about how long after your interview? I interviewed the first week in March, and am waiting to hear back. Did they notify you via email or a letter?
