Pregnancy during part-time FNP program?

Nursing Students Post Graduate

Hello,

I am currently applying to a 3 year part time FNP program to begin August 2014. The first year of this program will be on-line only.

My daughter is almost 1 year old and we are planning on having more children. I am wondering if anyone has actually gone thru a pregnancy and had a newborn during school?

I am very lucky in the sense that I am not currently working and will not have to work while going to school, so it will be parenting two kiddos while going to school part time. My husband is very supportive and I will have the help of a nanny (hopefully) as well.

Thank you so much.

best,

kp

I am not in NP program yet but my daughter was 3 months old when i started school for RN she is 2 now and i am 6 months pregnant and doing the online RN-BSN at chamberlain and will be done in jan. Its not easy but doable with family support. When i start NP school i will have a newborn. Good luck to you and and always ask for help if you need it. It may be over whelming but you can manage. At least school will be part time for you.
