Anyone know how long it takes to complete University of Phoenix's online RN-BSN program? How many years of RN experience do you need to apply? Does anyone have any experience with this program?

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!

Hello. I had a very bad experience with UOP online BSN to MSN. The faculty was horrible, and the support was even worse. I could never speak to anyone about my concerns. The only people I could get on the phone were the financial representitive and the admissions counselor. HORRIBLE. Stay away!:o

Hello,

I graduated from UOP 1/2005. The time it takes truly depends upon the amount of credits that you need. Now for me, I had originally graduated from a diploma program and so there were a few classes like Math and Humanities that I needed but in all it took 25 months and I took really no breaks with the exception that I took an extra week one time. The way it works at UOP is that the classes are 5 weeks in duration and then you usually get a week off in between classes. A friend of mine is presently enrolled at UOP and she is almost done but she had her Associates prior and with that you have more credits. I had a good experience with UOP and you have good and bad professors but that can happen anywhere you go.

I am very thankful for programs like UOP because without it I would not have my BSN as I am a mother of 3 and was actually pregnant at the end of my program and it never really made a difference. I could sit in my pajamas and still be at "class". The one thing that is a little strange about UOP is that during your time you will not have the same advisor, they get changed often and that can have its pros and cons but was never an issue for me.

Good luck in your decision.
