Fall 2017 USF AGACNP Program Anyone?

Nursing Students Post Graduate

Published

Hello: I applied for the AGACNP program at USF. Anyone else? After reading some blogs from 2016, it appears that we may not know until late April of acceptance into the program. I hope the new NursingCAS application process will shorten the amount of time it takes the CON to go through the applications. Until then, I will anxiously await...

Hi,

I was notified yesterday morning via e mail regarding my application status for the AGACNP program. I was accepted! I called today to confirm ( I am paranoid) and they told me that 16 students were accepted and approximately 36ish applied. ( He didn't give me a hard number) This number does not count the post masters students. He also said that the number of applicants for AGACNP was down this year. The specialty was the first to come out and none of the others have been decided yet. I was surprised to hear as they told me two weeks ago that decisions would come out in late March or early April.

Good Luck!

I accidentally submitted twice.

Wow; Congratulations!!! I have not heard anything yet and am very anxious to hear something. I was told that they would not telling anyone either way until April. Maybe it's different for the AGACNP? My fingers are crossed.

May I ask your background, and did you get an interview or just an email? Is this your first time applying? Thanks.

Sorry about the delayed response.

After re reading your question I am wondering if we are talking about the same program. Did you mean USF or UCSF?

I was referring to the UCSF program,, USF only has FNP. Were you referring to the University of South Florida??

No problem. Yes, I was talking about the University of South Florida. Congratulations on your acceptance into the UCSF program.
