Externship

Hello All:

I just wanted to share my excitement. I am a senior BSN student and will graduate in May 09. I have been accepted into an externship lsebeg: at a major cancer hospital and hope to remain employed after graduation.

Any good advice or wisdom is appreciated.

Warmest Regards,

KOT

Kim,

I am in the same boat you are (except I'm working at an outpt cancer center), graduating in April 2009. I'm hoping to stay on with them after I graduate.

Learn all you can while you are there, ask questions, etc.

You may want to consider a student membership in the Oncology Nursing Society.

There is a wealth of information on their site.

Congrats on your externship
