Nursing School shoe Suggestions

Nurses Uniform/Gear

I need suggestions for student nursing shoes... They have to be all leather, white, no hole, or mesh:p

I have found one shoe Grasshoppers Women's Stretch Plus Sneaker, but was wondering if there was something better...

I have Landau's new RX therapy white "leather" slip on shoe(not clogs though) they meet all requirements you are needing and are super comfortable and lightweight. They cost around $60 but look as if they will hold up. Just go to a uniform shop, and they should have plenty to choose from! Or you can order from an online uniform shop, like lydiasuniforms.com. Hope this helps:)!

[caveat: male nursing student] fubu makes a very nice white laceups (good airing, good quality, all around white, no frills, not good for flat or wide feet). shying away from that, my first nursing school shoes were a pair of walmart velcro with the zippy-protonpack 12$ specials that lasted 6 days of clinicals during my first semester.

Dansko has a pair of Professional white leather clogs that would work. They have a closed back so most places allow you to wear this shoe. I have had my Dansko's for about a year now and they are still in perfect shape! I love them! They also have REALLY cute colors and styles for when you get out of school...if your employer allows you to wear them! Good luck! :)

Merrell makes all leather super comfy nursing shoes. Encore Moc Pro or Jungle Moc Pro - both have lots of support but I like the Jungle Mocs better - they have more cushion. I wore my Encore's through 2 years of Nsg school where we were on the floor on our feet for about 6-8 hours at night (after I had already worked a full day in the office) and for 12.5 hour shifts during my externship and they saved my back!! The only drawback is that anything all leather gets hot, so buy some good socks like Gold Toe that let your tootsies breathe :D

Crocs. If you look at their website in the Women's section, on the side bar hit work they have a great selection. Personally, i got the Mercy Work ones and I love them. Twelve hour clinicals and my feet, knees, hips, and back aren't hurting at all. And they're pretty inexpensive, too.
