What is an addictionologist? I need to see one this week. What is the procedure?

Hello sissiemama... I've just now completed treatment and am scheduling my addictionologist appt. Hoping to petition the BON for my restricted privileges in July or August. Would love to learn more about your journey getting back into nursing and work after tx. Any advice?

The addictionologist appointment lasted an hour. He was very familar with the BON and how nursing nurses process the task of administers medication. He is also savvy with diverters. He asked me questions about my childhood, aches, pains, sleep habits, how I came to be charged with diversion. He asked about my illegal drug usage, in childhood and adulthood. I was questioned about my parents, and sexual deviant behavior. We discussed how nurses could do there jobs better and easier.:twocents:
