Is anyone else planning on applying to UNLV SON for the summer 2014 start?

Nice! I hope I find something cheap, or I might just try to get added to my gf's insurance

I got mine through the Health Link as well. As an independent that only made $7000 dollars last year they approved me for Medicaid for free. It's worth looking into if you're independent like I am and don't make a whole lot.

If you're under 26 you should be able to be on your parents health insurance for free because of obamacare

I've been trying to look for one too. I went on to nevada health link and the ones they were offering were higher cost than unlvs. But I think it's based on how much you make currently. Let me know if you find a good one Mark
Yeah I also went to nevada health link Mike and unlv is still a better option unless you claim a lower income. I'll keep looking! Go call the nursing department Mike and ask if a box of Band aid qualifies for insurance lol jk

Everything is fine :) After doing some research comparing the two, I took a spot in NSC's Accelerated program instead. Good luck to everyone this Summer!
