Does anyone have any idea when they will or if they have begun sending out the acceptance letters for the Fall? Its crazy to me that they wait so long to tell you. Makes it hard to plan! :rolleyes:

I bet people were trying to apply for Spring while they still had one class left to complete or something to that nature!!

Thanks for all the good info! I wonder if some people were just hoping it would be overlooked. One of the schools I got rejected from in May actually allowed a girl to get in even though she failed a portion of the TEAS V. (California lottery system) So frustrating!

I have to admit, this is all I can think about too! I realize that with the extremely high number of applicants that the competitiveness of the program skyrockets, and that concerns me.

Either way, I wish everyone the best here. . . I truly hope that we can all be classmates.

I gotta tell you that I really wonder if the numbers are true and really as high as we are hearing because I can tell you that last semester in both my A&P fasttrack class and my micro class there may have been two people who could actually apply to the program this semester. With the numbers being stated you would think there would have been many more who were applying. And it seems like there are only a handful of us checking here regularly. Who knows. Wishful thinking maybe!!! :)

I know that I was told that there would be 300+ applicants to WNC, only to find out at orientation that just over 100 applied and that last year every single person on the 15+ alternate list( and more they had to call )were eventually accepted, So keep your head up! Your scores are competitve and you didn't receive the rejection letter! :) Many of the students that were accepted to WNC were from Reno, and I'm guessing most people applied to both schools to improve their odds, this may also improve the odds as some may decline admission having been accepted to another school.:up:

I just wish we had a solid date as to when letters would be mailed. At first, in May, I was told that beginning of July was time frame, and that no news until then. . is good news. . . . .but I don't know about all of that now.

I'll stop complaining :0)

I have sent tons of e-mails and they never get returned; I feel ya! Try to keep yourself busy, there is nothing we can do about it now! (easy for me to say, I know) We should be enjoying the time off! Once school starts we will have no life at all, we will be wishing for the days of posting on allnurses.com:eek:

Didn't you get accepted into WNC? I thought you already had your orientation . . . . or did you decide to wait it out for TMCC ?

Anyone else get excited when they see the mailman?? What's wrong with me? Haha

Unfortunately, I am finding it very hard to relax and enjoy what may be my last few months of free time....because I feel so uncertain. I feel the need to know one way or the other so I can plan my life. I either need tO get a jOb or be in school on my way to getting a job soon. I don't have much wiggle room with 3 kids and no help! Lol
