Has anyone heard from UMN-BSN or Century college yet? I have been checking my mailbox everyday! Still heard nothing yet. How about everyone else?

I applied for Fall 2010 at U of M- TC, don't think i'll get in but am hopeful anyways. They sent me an email to my u of m email and said that there were so many applicants it will be at the end of April before they make decisions. Also said they will notify you via the email you provided in the application on their decision so I don't think they are sending out letters... Good luck!

Nothing from NHCC yet!! Patience, patience...

I've heard from Inver Hills....and i know they team up with Century. But i don't know if they send out their letters at the same time...??? Good Luck!!!!

I just heard from Century today! I am alternated number 228. :p So check your mail, you probably got a letter too!

I'm still waiting for my letter from Century...I have heard that the # is your priority for Fall if accepted students choose not to attend. You being a #2 alternate means the likelyhood of you attending Fall Semester is about 99.9% and you are definitely in for spring. I have also heard that if you hold an alternate # of 1-70 your chances of getting in for Fall or Spring is 100%. Congratulations #2 you're a nursing student!!!!

Cool. I feel a little bit better now. I just wish the letter said congrats your in, not your #002. Where did you hear all this info.?

I've been researching and talking to current nursing students. I knew letters were being mailed on Fri., so I knew to watch for it today or Monday. Is this your first time applying?

Cool! Thanks! I just don't know anything besides what it says on the letter and it doesn't really say that much. Its a big freaking deal for me! How did you know the letters were mailed on friday? I called up there a couple weeks ago and they told me mid-april but not an actual date. ..anyway, This is my first time applying. How about you?

I actually attend Century and needless to say everyone of us has been waiting, and waiting for the letters to come out. A few of my classmates e-mailed the director and her reply was they were being mailed on Fri. It is my first time applying too. I don't have any idea if I'm getting in, but I am hopeful. What is your background? I am always curious as to which students are getting in. I don't know if they are going off g.p.a, cna experience, classes done.

sorry that took so long! i didnt realize i had to get to the next page to read your last response. I got my AA degree at century, my gpa is like 3.4ish and i have all the prereqs done, and over 480 or whatever it was for CNA hours. So you really think I should consider myself "IN"?

Yes consider yourself "IN". Students accepted into fall have a deadline to return their letters for confirmation. I have heard that this time period is about 2 weeks, to accept their position, any students not accepting starts the alternate #'s into action. You should be getting an acceptance letter within 3-4 weeks unless all Fall students have accepted their positions, which does not happen. Many students applied to multiple schools and have been accepted by more than one which opens up a spot for you, and with you being #2 on the alternate you are in.
