Hello, I have been an STNA for 13 years now and this is what I do. I graduated from Sinclair CC (Surg Tech) in Dayton, Ohio 5/4/14... I have not been able to obtain employment as Surgical Tech and I am gtn discouraged because it has been almost a year... Employers want people who have experience; but how am I supposd to gt experience without a chance? I guess I'm messaging for some experience, strength and hope!!!

outpatient Surg centers

private Dr.

Just dont know what the best route is

You gotta network yourself, its about who you know. I'm facing the same issue right now as a nurse with 2 years experience and trying to move to another unit!! It is very frustrating and I hate hearing "well we want someone with experience", well how the hell did all those "experienced" applicants get their experience then! They had to start some where too!! Sorry not much advice from me but feeling your pain.
