Study & Lab skills with a whole lotta stress

Hello all, it's my second semester in nursing school. I'm feeling kinda down with the test grade I made this past Tuesday in Fundamentals! I have everything in a planner of important dates, tests, assignments. I start studying the week before to prepare for the Basics test(studied ATI, boxes, bullet points and some rationales and I bombed it) I do admit the week before I was studying like 4 to 6 hours with a 30 min. break and taking A LOT of notes. Any tips for an audio visual

tavtile learner to actually retain the mass amount of material. However, with all that in mind, when I go to lab to practice skills, the instructors go over what to do to practice skills and I go blank! Ever since I started this semester, I have noticed short term memory loss. Any tips to retain the info. I do record the lab and the lecture for the class. Last but not least, I have five children, a diabetic husband that does not approve of me going to school and threatens every other day with the phone being turned off and divorce. Honestly, all of this could correlate to too much stress and not getting enough help. I am exhausted from lack of sleep, no energy and hardly any help at this point.

Thank you so much to y'all for listening to my short vent/life scenario. I just want to nip this in the butt before my whole lifelong dream of becoming a nurse Burts into flames.. If you would rather email that would be great too
