Should I switch jobs from lab tech to CNA?

I just finished my first course in a 2 year ASN program. This means that I can work as a CNA if I want, which will allow me more flexibility with studying and classes. And it will get my foot in the door on a hospital floor, so I'll hopefully get a good job after graduation.

Right now I work full-time in a hospital lab, as a lab tech. I don't work directly with nurses so I don't think this job will really help me after graduation. However, the pay is great and I don't think I'd make anything close as a CNA. My boss (a doctor) is pretty flexible and allows me to study at work, and leave early when I have class. I am handling the hours pretty well so far, and convincing myself that things will calm down for me once I'm done with school. I work 40-45 hours a week and my classes are 10 credits apiece. I should also mention that I have a previous degree that came with a large amount of private student loans, and I'm essentially financially independent, so money does need to come from somewhere.

So, in my situation, what would you do? Should I stay at the job that pays great but doesn't really help towards my future as a nurse, or should I get a CNA job with a pay cut, but have a greater chance of it helping me out once I graduate?

Thanks :)
