Questions about the LPN route...qs

So having to wait 1-2 years for acceptance into a city college Nursing program, I have decided it will be best if I just go the LPN route first. At least that knocks off an entire year wait and when I do go back to school to get my Associate's degree, I'm sure there are many options out there for me as far as transitioning from LPN to RN.

My questions are:

- What are the pre reqs to get into the lpn program at a community college, specifically at Daley College?

- Is it competitive?

- How long is the program?
