PST interview at St. Jospehs North

I was recently accepted into the upcoming ASN class at Concorde here in Tampa. I have spent the last 7.5 years working as a PCT with nursing always being my end goal. I am looking for a PCT position here in Tampa but am not having a lot of luck. I have been accepted to RN and BSN programs in the past but was not able to make it work I am incredibly excited and grateful to begin this process.

Yesterday I had an interview for a PCT position at St Joseph's North on their medical surgical unit. This job is perfect and I'm afraid I was an over eager, awkward mess at my interview yesterday. I am certainly qualified for the position.

Over all I feel the interview went well. I was instructed to wait for HR to give me a call to see if they are going to make me an offer. I also received an email asking for 5 references. I submitted my references and I waiting on the call. I am extremely anxious.

I have driven past this hospital on my way to my current job ( office admin) the past 6 months and every day I say to myself... 'I want to work there'. I am so close.

At my previous job, I sat on the interview committee and interviewed several new PCTS. I also trained new PCTS on the floor I worked for which was a difficult floor (Transplant at Mayo in jax) I feel like I nailed the interview but I also fear that my nerves got in the way. Is there such a thing as being over eager?

Anyone interview at ST Joe's north in Tampa before? Any insight to ease my anxiety would be appreciated.

Fingers crossed.
