NCLEX review: good/bad/neither?

I just took an online NCLEX practice test on nursing fundementals, just to see what it was like. I am not in nursing school yet. (I just finished my pre-reqs and am waiting for the letter that will tell me if I'll get in this fall. I do work as a hospital PCA though, but have only had on the job training.) Anyway, there were 30 questions on the test and I got 21 of them right. Is this a good sign, a bad sign, or neither, as to whether I might do well in NS?

A big part of the first year of nursing is learning how to read, comprehend and analyze questions and think critically. So this test could be a good sign that you test well and are good at reading and breaking down test questions, which is a big part of being successful. But there is a lot more that goes into nursing school then one test. There are clinicals, papers, research, math, and your instructors will all create tests that are very different in style. You've got to be able to succeed in all aspects, not just in tests. Good luck.
