Nclex is one of the most critical parts of your nursing career besides passing your exit exam after school I promised I would come back after I passed and tell what works the best ...I am a tactile and visual learning with that being said I have used ncsbn questions Kaplan hurst and the Sylvia Rayfield . What works ? Number one make a study schedule stick to it ... The first week cover content with HURST the second week re-do content and add in questions so do content in the morning do questions in the evening ...get the RN nclex mastery app so you can do questions in between. Keep watching hurst know that information forwards and backwards use ncsbn for the QUESTION BANKS ONLY. You will pass successfully and know how to apply your critical thinking . The night before and morning of I was still reviewing I could not sleep ...I read the 35 page review and did lab values as well took a 5 energy hour shot and walked in and did the test . Yes you are going to feel like crap after the test but this is a good feeling ... I say this because I passed and so will you !!! Get up take breaks have snacks water and Gatorade in your locker . Have fruit just incase you have to go the WHOLE WAY. The biggest thing to take from this is to study use HURST, ncsbn question banks only , 35 page study review , and LA CHARITY DELEGATION AND PRIORITIZATION and you will be FINE.
