Hi Everyone!

I Applied to the Lurie Children's Hospital Student Nurse internship program about 3 weeks ago. I called human resources today and they said how they would let people know by Wednesday of this week if they were going to be called for an interview. Has anyone received a call yet and does anyone know how competitive it is to get a spot? I really really want this opportunity, and I don't have much experience, but I have been working one on one with children with special needs for the past 10 months. Thanks!

Hi! I also applied, but have not heard anything yet. That is great that we should know by tomorrow though! I think that it is very competitive because Lurie's is known as such a great place to work.

I was going to call human resources until I just saw this! It is a VERY competitive program that's why they only post the applications for a day or two because so many people apply for it. Did anyone receive a call? Sad I didn't get one today!

I didn't get a call :( A friend who applied last year said that they sent her a "rejection" e-mail, but I haven't received one of those either. Did anyone else hear anything?
