Internship Job in summer

Hi all!! This is my first semester in nursing school :) I was wondering since my program takes the summer off, if any of you had the same thing where the summer was free, if you got an internship job in the hospital? paid, unpaid? Wondering if I should look into it

I am on my summer break between my first and second year, working as a CNA for the summer only. I would highly recommend doing that if you can as you will learn so much just working as a CNA. I had gotten my CNA just to apply to some schools but never worked as one until this summer. It makes me so much more appreciative of what they do for one and another I know I can help them better if needed once I am a nurse. I know after the first quarter of my program, those that weren't CNAs could sit for the CNA state test to become certified if they wanted. Something to look into.
