I Passed the NET!

Nursing Students General Students

Published

Finally, after a two week wait from taking the NET and a year and a half of taking pre-req's, I'm finally going into the LPN program starting in Aug. I'm so excited!

I'll finally be able to call myself a student nurse! :chuckle If all goes well, I will be done with the program at the same time my oldest daughter starts college (aug 04). Just in time for tuition bills!

Thanks in advance for any well wishes, I'm going to need them!

Wow! It is so wonderful to read all of your posts.

I will be taking the NET at the end of this month. I am SO nervous and excited and anxious - all at the same time.

As far as the study guides go - you may be able to find one at your university library. I have a friend who finished school last May - and she was kind enough to give me her study guide.

Haven't looked at it yet, though.

I'm a bit scared - because this test determines if I get into the RN program for the fall semester of 2004. There are only 70 slots open - and literally hundreds of applicants - so they only take the top scores. If I don't get in the 2004 class - I will have to wait another year - and I'm just too old for all that. LoL I have two sons - ages 12 and 14. I made the decision to go into nursing after being laid off twice in two years.

oops! Didn't mean to be so long winded! But check out the library at your school. If it is like ours - they have a study guide on reserve at the library. :) Good luck!
