Hi all! I am hoping to apply for the part-time nursing program at Shady Side School of nursing for the fall. I will admit, I took a shot at taking all prerequisites at a local community college a few years ago, and could NOT stay focused! I learn better when I am in a positive environment, and especially when I am surrounded by people with a common goal. I am confident in my decision to go back to school to pursue my nursing career, but I am nervous about working full time and going!

Any advice, words of wisdom, or info (particularly about Shady Side Nursing School & doing the part time program) would be SO helpful! :)

How are your prereq grades? Are they competitive?

The classes I took were passing, but barley. I withdrew my second semester before starting anymore classes when I realized going there was not for me.
