today I took the 1st nursing exam on history/ethic/maslow/therapeutic communication and failed! I thought I was going to Aced it but boy I was wrong. I got a 68, I studied so hard, and I missed questions that I shouldn't of missed. I love the medical fiedl; I have been working in the field for 16 years. but I want to be a nurse, I hate to think of the fact that I have to drop nursing bc of the low grades! I dont want to! I made a 100 on the math part. I even decreased my working hours from 40 to 25 hrs/week. Have anybody gone through this? so what you do to make a better grade next time? instructors said that tests are just going to get harder and harder!!!!

thanks for the advises, we are having test remediation next week, we're going over the test to see where my weakness was. first week of nursing I was still working full-time but now I work part-time and we were doing alot of labs on the first & 2nd. week of of school that took alot of reading time away. next test i know I have to work harder so I can do better. thank you again.:banghead:

It's that time of the year...first test! I have mine on Mon in 10 chapters and have been preparing from day one. I'm trying my best to stay calm (even went for a workout) but the first test jitters are just different (fear of the unknown)! In a way, I want to get it over with so I know where I stand and what I should do in future.
