Specializes in Hey I'm now an RN!!.

I am wondering what your roles are as historians. My role is not clearly defined, and I am looking for some good ideas and/or projects.

I have established an online photo album and am gradually taking pics. Every year they have yearbooks.

But what can I do that's fun, to keep up morale and give everyone a sense of being a team/family whatever you want to call it. You know, that common nursing student bond??

I would like to be able to look at some things when graduation comes and say oh my gosh!!! Remember that?? We never thought we would get through it.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated!!!

Thanks-

Hey

I am not a current historian but I am in an organization that has one and I know their duties. The historian we have will go to activities and will collect pictures from activities, from class or voulenteer activities then will scrapbook them. It sounds cool can't wait to see ours. I guess just take/ collect pictures and find a creative way to show them off. Online, slide show at end of the year just some ideas.

Hope this helps out a little

I think it's on the "Sucess stories of Nursing" forum that they have a thread about a class that put together something that had things like their pt memories, etc. I recommend reading the thread entitled "Patients I remember" in that forum. Just a suggestion, hope it helps
