i just found out yesterday that's i'm pregnant! we're shocked, because we weren't trying (actually, trying to prevent it). but now, we're thrilled. it's scary, because i just started nursing school, and am due about 2 weeks before the end of my second semester (may 4). so, anyway, i just wanted to share my good news with you all!

Congratulations!!!!! Have a happy and healthy 9months!

Congratulations!! How exciting. I am just 2 weeks into my program, and we have a classmate that is due in October. She is giving us all baby fever, much to our instuctor's dismay!! I had a baby in April 2004, and I only missed 2 days of class. Its tough, but it can be done. I hope you have a good support system, I know that daycares won't take babies younger than 6 weeks, that does cause a problem for some. Just start making your plans now, and I know w/ determination you will get through it. Good luck!

Congrats! I'm due March 30 myself (graduation is May 13) - it'll be hectic, but worth it! FYI - in my situation, I'm not going to be able to take much time off school at all, so we're already planning to save, save, and save some more - then my husband will take off 6 weeks or so - so that I can get back to school ASAP - I've already told my OB that bedrest isn't an option... I need to graduate! Good luck with your pregnancy!

and just how do you think that is going to happen if you have your baby two weeks before your *due* date, which is 4 weeks before the semester ends? Or is this your first baby?

This is my second baby. I know that I can do it. I bounced back very quickly with my first and I have a great support system within my family that can most definately help me out until I finish the 2nd semester.

Congrats! I had my fourth baby 6 weeks before the start of my 1st semester. It was very hard, but I am still here, reading to begin my 3rd semester. Good luck!
