My poor husband... I'm changing my mind every week or so, it seems, regarding where I want to go when I'm finally done with my BSN - rural in-state, rural out-of-state, metro, not-so-metro yet not-so-rural... I think with summer I have too much time on my hands (trying to stay busy with work, husband, and our 6-year-old, but still...) -- I have a stack of state travel planners, so that I can look at areas, etc. and city-data.com has become my new best friend... writing this now, I realize it sounds like I'm obsessed (or obsessive compulsive) but really I'm not - I am just really stressing that I don't know where I want to go when I'm done with school (297 days and counting!) - we'll be moving out the area, so there are so many choices! Then, I signed up on 3rnet.org to see what was available in various states (rural) and I've been contacted by recruiters... ugh! Although, I did find a spot in North Dakota where houses (decent) are under $30K! I know this is not all bad, because I will need to decide, but still... spending the summer trying not to go completely batty!

Can anyone commiserate with me? What have you done to stop it? Or the oddest thing you've done?? I bet we could have fun with this! Although it is more fun to dream about winning the lottery... somedays :)

Oh - I should say, the wackiest thing I've done with all of this thinking has been... to decide to go for a 2 hour drive on a Saturday night to check out an area... then got lost, got there after dark, couldn't see much anyway, then got lost driving home... with my husband and 6-year-old in the car! It was a nice drive, at least :)
