It's hard to apply what I'd learned in theory part..i need something that can help me which is the question or the situation to train me to relate with what I'd learned, for example i need to learn in how to study the lab test result in which i can know from it that what had happened to the patient..so that in nursing care, i can apply easily and feel confident ...in future if doctors ask how the condition of the patient,i can tell the doctor and i can understand what is going to the patient...in doing everything as ordered by doctor,i can know the reason are why like that or why like this...so that i am not like a robot in the ward which just doing as doctor order..somehow i want to be proactive in the ward...from this i can think as critical thinking..

Is there anyone here can help me by giving the question or website that i can learn the situation of the patient in their disease.

i hope anyone here can understand what i mean...sorry for the long story:nurse:

Specializes in ICU, ER.

Medscape has lots of case studies for CE but you can do them for free without credit. My Med-Surg and patho books were FULL of case studies...try looking there.

There are also several books in the "... for dummies" and "… made incredibly easy" series that make everything so easy to understand you'll wonder why your professors don't teach it that way. One of my favorites was Fluid and Electrolytes Made Incredibly Easy. It REALLY helped during my ICU placement. They also give great ways to explain things to pts.

Good luck ;)

Thanks for your reply...anyway may i know what the title of the dummies book...mybe i can find it for myself...

thank you for sharing the medscape website to me..TQVM
