What's on your plate this summer and fall?

For classes that is. This summer I am in for deelopmental psych and HOPEFULLY intermediate algebra although I am on a freaking waiting list for that, and tomm I register for Chemistry and A&P for the fall and Intermediate Algebra if I dont take it over the summer.

What fun things do you get to take?

Microbiology - from mid-May to beginning of Sept.

CNA - the entire month of June

A&P I - from mid-July to mid-October

Nutrition for Nurses - mini-course that lasts a week in August

Fundamentals of Nursing (Nursing I) - mid-August to mid-December

CNA this summer

Dev psych and A&P II for fall, then all I have left is micro and a looong wait LOL :rotfl:

Clinical through May, Microbiology in July/August. Lots of downtime otherwise. Nothing to do around here nursing wise except nursing homes.

This summer I am taking A&P II and History of Western Civ I (7 credits)

In the Fall, I'm signing up for: Biological Systems, Chemistry II, Psy: Adult & Old Age, Interpersonnel Relationshops (speech) and Western Civ II. (17 credits)

This will allow me to start my nursing course in January 2005 without having to take a lot of general ed classes to my BSN.

Med Surg over the summer. Then my final semester in the fall!

Development Psych and Medical Law & Ethics in the summer, also my CPR. For Fall, I think I am going to Advanced Physiology, but 4 programs I applied for have not sent out letters yet, so things could change if I am accpeted (hope, hope!)

For Summer I have Microbiology and Public and Private communications.

For Fall I have Pharmacology 1 and Basic Nursing Applications 1 (First 8 weeks) and Pharmacology 2 and Basic Nursing Applications 2 (Second 8 weeks)

For Spring 05 I will have Nursing leadership, Advanced Nursing Applications 1 (First 8 weeks), and Advanced Nursing Applications 2 (Last 8 weeks).

Then all I have is my NCLEX Review and exam

Let's see, Microbiology from June 2 to July 7. 5days a week from 8am to 11.30Am.

In the Fall, Peds first 8 weeks, then midterm break, then Med/Surg 2.

Then ONE semester...16 weeks...and I am DONE!!!

I am actually traveling this summer. No classes. No externship. Nothing.

The traveling will be awesome but I think I am going to be a bit rusty when I go back in September. :uhoh21:

Taking "Interpersonal Communications" this summer & either "General Pharmacology" or "Microbiology" this fall...they are the only non-nursing program classes I have left.

Nothing for the summer, though I wish I could have taken my A&P II and had it done.

Fall I have Life Span Development, College Composition, Foundations of Nursing and a review session for it, Intro to Pharmacology and Studen Success Seminar. The last two end six weeks after they start..about the time clinicals start, so I should be okay.

Finishing up A & P II for the Spring then applying to a Nursing program

Summer I have: Nutrition (5 weeks) and Microbiology (10 weeks)

Fall I have: Chemistry and Statistics

Then I'm done w/ prereqs! Hopefully I get into the program and will start in Spring of 05!
