Medical Disability Advisor

I would like to know if anyone has bought the book "Medical Disability Advisor" by Dr. Presley? Has it been helpful and worth the money? It seems awful expensive to me and I don't want to buy it if it is not helpful.

I have one that is about 10 years old that was given to me by a friend who left case management. It is a good book and has a lot of info in it that is useful if you are doing worker's comp case management. Otherwise, it is probably not worth the large cost. I rarely use it as I can find most of what I need online. However, there have been times that is was a definite Ace-in-the-hole. Don;t think I would let go of the money it would take to purchase it however.

my company, Libety Mutual, uses the software. It is very informative for Worker's comp to set target return to work dates. It gives a lot of good information on disease/injury process, appropriate treatment plans etc...

I have the 3rd edition MDA & have been using it for 5 years. The company I used to work for had a subscription to an online version which is what I'm looking for now. I do work comp though so I need it, however when I saw the price I about fell over. I will NOT be updating mine anytime soon!

I'm an independent catastrophic/medical case manager & legal nurse consultant in Florida. I'm looking for a copy of The Medical Disability Advisor by Dr. Presley Reed. I can't afford the exorbitant cost of buying it new or online , so if there is anyone out there who would like to sell their old copy, please let me know.

Would you be interested in selling your copy?

Thanks, Lo
