    I just sit Nclex without SSN just wait the immigration visa. Does anyone know how long it is the expiration period for the letter of passing. In addition, How long does it take to receive the letter of passing? Without SSN, I can't check my result on the website.

    Hey trikiwi, I also dont have SSN and took the NCLEX RN.
    I thought of that, your name will not appear in the website regarding the result. How long did it take to receive the letter of passing(or failing)? and if you've passed how long will they wait for the SSN?

    I assume you already got your answer because your thread dated Nov 2010.

    Sorry for late answer. You should get result already. It took 3 weeks to receive the letter of passing after sitting NCLEX. I may get my immigrant visa on later of next year. Any news for you? Thanks

    hi there, yeah I got the result already and yeah I passed. Originally my BON was Arkansas but I decided to transfer my nclex result to New york. The CGFNS for CVS thing gives me headache. I really need a US RN license.

    Do you get your SSN? Withouy SSN, how can you transfer your NCLEX result to New York? If you get the registration in Arkansas, do you still need CGFNS screen for transfering your registeration to New York?

    I don't have US SSN yet. Well, I mean I am transferring to NY by means of Licensure by Examination. You don't need SSN or license to do that, you are just basically transferring your nclex result to a certain state. Yes, since Arkansas doesn't require CGFNS certifcate and the like, you will need CGFNS / CVS for New york which costs 390 dollars and it's a long process... I'm expecting my license mid 2012. sigh*
