This nurse is trying to get back in shape and looking for some music to add to my playlist. What do you rock out to while working out?

I love all kinds but I dig rap/hip-hop for strength training/weight lifting which I do pretty frequently. Till I Collapse by Eminem is probably my favorite - I love the beat!
And I have to admit - my favorite pump-up song is You're The Best (from The Karate Kid).

Mine is Florence and the Machine- Dog Days.
I also have a varied work out play list. Metal. Dance music. Lotta Kelly Clarkson. Mumford and sons is good, most if those songs have a driving beat.
All kinds if stuff as long as it's gots dat beat, yo.
"Angry" songs get me going, too, like the Jay Z/ linkin Park old school mash ups.

I love catchy rap! Anything they play on the hip hop station nowadays. Also pop, i.e. The Weeknd's new stuff, Hannah Montana *judge me*, Justin Bieber etc.
DISCO!
Yea, I said it. Talk about don't judge.

My workout playlist currently is kind of all over the place. Awolnation, Modest Mouse, Naked and Famous, Imagine Dragons, some old Rihanna, some old Christina Aguilera, some Pitbull, Flo Rida, Nirvana, Lady Gaga, La Roux, Ariana Grande. Yeah. All over the place. Sometimes I do switch it up and put the iPhone on a specific genre and shuffle it.

well, you may want to take a look at either spotify or pandora, either allow you to pick "workout"as a search term. spotify will give you playlists people have made, or their own workout playlists. pandora will compile a ton of songs that it will go through automatically. good luck and good job getting back into fitness! Remember, the day you think you don't have to go to the gym is the day you MUST.
If anyone has an iPhone, I highly recommend getting Apple Music/Radio :)
