Who votes?

My local nursing association said that about 8% of nurses vote. :uhoh21: I can't believe it is that low. Are they making that up?

Who has voted or will vote? And if not, why not???

I plan on voting and I'm taking my kids with me so they see the importance of it all.

I do! I take the kids with me too! You can't B**** if you don't vote and I like to B****:chuckle

I vote because it's compulsory to vote in Australia!

I ALWAYS vote. I used to take my kids with me until they got old enough to vote themselves! It an honor and priviledge that we, as a family, hold dearly.

Amen to that!!!

I don't vote yet because I'm not a US citizen. I am applying for citizenship in Nov. 2007 and I will vote after that. I think it's very important to vote and I would encourage everyone to take advantage of this privilege!

I vote...but does it make a difference anymore? just watch CNN and what happened with the last presidential elections :angryfire

I voted for the first time on Tuesday.

I voted!

I live in a state where we had a highly contested senate election, and seeing as the dems were in a position to gain control of the senate, this could be considered an important election (whether you are repub or dem).

U.S. Senate - Virginia 2410 of 2411 Precincts Reporting NamePartyVotesPctcheck.gif Webb , Jim Dem 1,172,671 49.60 Allen , George (i) GOP 1,165,440 49.29 Parker , Glenda IG 26,106 1.10

a difference of 7231 votes. 2411 precincts. divide the difference in votes by the number of precincts.

7231/2411=2.99 votes per precinct difference. in each precinct, if 3 more people had voted for george allen, he could have won. so we should never think our vote doesn't count. soyou are darn straight i always vote!

OK i am not a nurse....but i voted....for the first time...not that it did any good. :o

Still a student here but I do vote. It was a very close race here in Va.
