Do you wear a watch? If so, what kind?

I did in LTC but now that I work in a hospital, I don't, but I do carry one in my pocket. I buy the cheapie Walmart watches. They actually stand up to hospital conditions well.

Any watch with a second hand will work-however, it is advisable that your watch also be water resistant.

White watch I used for clinicals when I did my CNA over a year and a half ago. Still works and it was about $14 at Walmart. Not everything has to be fancy.

Awesome thankyou! Do you keep a cell phone on you While your working? I have a galaxy note and I can't imagine it fitting nicely in scrubs...

I carry my iPhone6+ in my scrubs, with no problem.

I keep a clip on watch on my lanyard. I hate wearing watches and my pockets are too full already.

I wear a Fitbit that has a watch built into it. I am allowed to keep my phone in my pocket but I can only use it on official breaks/meals. It we get caught with it out, we get written up.

I wear a fob watch on my scrubs atop my breast. I just look down for the time. It has a back light for night shift. I've gotten a lot of compliments from both patients and staff. I'm hoping i can use it for clinical this fall. I have no problems with contamination, and i like that.

I have a waterproof Baby G watch, super convenient for giving baths. Mine is rose gold and black but they have a ton of different colors, got it off Amazon for around $50. I have an iPhone 6 and keep my phone in one of my scrub pant pockets.

I have several cheapy watches, a watch is a must in my position. I do carry my phone in a side pant pocket, we're not supposed to have them out at work, but in our pod we use ours for calendars multiple times a day and I use the calculator on mine when I need to figure drug dosage (clinic job, no on site pharmacy. I use a drug that I have to mix and figure out based on weight/height)

Nope, in my LTC we do not take vitals. I carry my phone, but I am not supposed too :*
