I'm a little confused, does anyone know what the mystar thing is? I just finished my supplemental, and I read that someone had their user id and password for mystar, but I have no clue what that even is!

UTMB will send you 3 emails with info for you to gain access to myStar. There, you can check the status of your app and missing docs etc.

Alright, now about those emails...they sent my info for the supplemental app by mail, which email are they sending these tip...my nursingcas or personal?

How long does it take to receive those e-mails? I sent my supplemental app. about 2 days ago.

It took about a week for mine

so i got an email from a lady saying that my application is incomplete and that they are missing my supporting statement!! What is the supporting statement? On nursingcas i did the personal statement, is that not the same thing? I'm kind of irritated about the whole thing because mystar says complete, nursingcas says complete, and the 500 times i called them they said i was complete, so i dont understand why im incomplete. does anyone know what the supporting statement is and how we send it to them... ughhh i just want to know if im accepted or not!

The supporting statement is the "personal statement on nursingcas" .. on your nursingcas app did you make sure the send your personal statement with your app? Because if I can recall correctly... you had to select the personal statement to be sent to UTMB. I guess its made to make it easier to send different essays to different schools.

Has anyone else heard anything?! I just want to know already!!!

I know at first i hadn't sent my personal statement with my NCAS application so i was told that i could send it to enrollment services. I would tell you the exact person and email but i saw earlier that we can't post anything about personnel that work at utmb. Also has anyone had anything in their "to do list" on MyStar? I know i sent my transcripts earlier before i had even been given the MyStar account but i was just curious.....I would just like to know when they will start telling if we got an interview.

Has anyone gone to an Open House event or has signed up for one? I'm signed up for July 14th but may have to reschedule due to a chemistry lab.

thank you all, we figured out what happened and everything is OKAY! AND COMPLETE! :) I talked to a lady today and sadly their finishing up on fall 2012 enrollment and will start on us spring 2013 class once fall is done. HOPEFULLY WE KNOW SOMETHING SOON! IM GETTING SO ANXIOUS!
